In England we found a great example of a website that was designed using Web Designer and doesn?t use templates. The cartoonist and animator, Zebtoonz, presents his work on his site, Zebtoonz. It?s no surprise that someone as creative as this chose to create their own custom design. The structure is simple yet effective. Beneath main logo and title there?s a taskbar which displays the different areas of his site. The ?Portfolio? section features examples of his work. In the ?Animation? section Zeb has embedded some YouTube videos, which is easy as pie in Web Designer. The animator and cartoonist has already brought out 2 DVDs, so it?s only logical that he makes them available on his site under ?Products?. He doesn?t have an integrated online shop where you can buy his products but he does link you to an external shop, where you can purchase the DVDs. A particularly cool feature can be found by clicking on ?Tutorials? where Zeb provides tips on comic drawing techniques for anyone who?s interested in learning more.
This site shows just what is possible in Web Designer if you want to build a website from scratch. Of course, this site?s owner has got lots of interesting content to show, which makes his page unique and quirky.
