KING, N.C. ? A special family reunion took place in King Saturday after Chief Bill Guraleczka returned home from his third deployment to Afghanistan.
Chief Guraleczka?s friends and families gathered to welcome him back at Piedmont Triad International Airport.
Chief Guraleczka has been a Navy Seabee for 17 years and his family said his time away has taken a toll on them.
?We?ll all get a hug and I?ll probably cry,? said Darlene Guraleczka, his mother. ?I always do.?
Chief Bill Guraleczka hugged his family and four kids, surrounded by members of the Patriot Guard, after nearly a year apart.
He said he is only two years away from retirement, but does not know when he will be deployed next.
