5:00 PM: Notre Dame QB Tommy Rees pleaded guilty to two charges Monday stemming from his arrest at a off-campus party last May while two other charges were dropped. Rees was sentenced to 30 day suspended & 50 hours of community service.

4:45 PM: KIVI-TV reports a Boise, Idaho gymnastics instructor has been arrested on sexual battery charges involving two girls between the ages of 16 & 17. Derek Nesbitt has also been accused of providing alcohol to teens during parties at his house.

4:30 PM: Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett released a statement Monday saying that "no taxpayer dollars will be used" to pay the $60 million fine the NCAA has levied on Penn State.

4:15 PM: CSN Bay Area reports the Oakland Raiders have traded receiver Louis Murphy to the Carolina Panthers.

4:00 PM: University of Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon has received a three-year contract extension where he could end up earning $1.5 million for the 2017-18 season.

3:45 PM: Charges of boating while impaired against Winnipeg Jets defenseman Dustin Byfuglien have been dropped. Byfuglien did plead guilty to careless boating and was fined $1,000 & sentenced to 30 days, with 28 days suspended.
